Staying connected away from your home network

A computer using cellular or a mobile hotspot is on a different network, even when you are physically at home. Without a private connection back to your server, it stops sending updates to Freeish until it reconnects to your home or work network.

Devices in different places need a private connection back to your Freeish server. Drawbridge sets that up. If your router already has a VPN that puts you on your home network, that can work too.

Choosing Drawbridge here does not turn it on. It needs to be set up first.
